Five Florida High Schoolers Accused of Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

Timothy Hinds, 18, is one of five teens accused of raping a 13-year-old girl

Five Manatee County, Florida teenage boys were recently accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the evening of August 18th, 2017, the unidentified victim alleges that she snuck out of her house to go watch Netflix at one of the accused’s place of residence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Upon arrival, she and the young boy went to his bedroom, shut the door, and surfed through the television programs.
About thirty minutes later, the boy exited the room to greet four more high school-aged male students who had just arrived at the home.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the accuser recalled then overhearing the high schoolers talking about her age and her being a virgin.
Shortly after, she says that’s when the boy–who she initially came to watch Netflix with, returned to the room and asked her to undress. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When she refused, he forcefully removed all of her garments, positioned himself on top of her, and began raping her before leaving out again.
Subsequently, each of the other boys proceeded to come in, one by one, to do the same. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After the claims were made to the police, one of the five boys denied the allegations but later admitted that they did have intercourse with the girl that night. However, he says that it was consensual. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Four of suspects have since been arrested for sexual battery and taken to the Juvenile Booking Facility. ⠀⠀
One’s arrest is still pending. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although 18-year-old Timothy Hinds has been identified as one of the suspects, since the others involved were minors, their names remain undisclosed.
