The highly publicized 13-page statement by former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, which was addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, has been spotted on traffic in major cities around the country.
Some copies of the ‘special statement’ printed and bound were spotted by correspondent being displayed and sold in traffic around major parts of the Lagos city as well as major places in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
While speaking to a PREMIUM Times correspondent, one of the hawkers in the Maryland area of Lagos on Thursday morning, attributed the development to the ingenuity of the Nigerian spirit.
The hawker who identified himself simply as Joe, said; “We have to sell and make money. People sold it too when Baba (Obasanjo) wrote a similar one to (Goodluck) Jonathan back then. Everyone wants to read it.”
It was gathered that the prices varied between N300 to N500 and more, depending on the seller.
