Earlier today, Mrs Toyin Saraki posted a picture of her husband, Bukola Saraki, during his declaration to run for president in 2019 yesterday August 30th. One of her followers identified as callmetariq asked her if she can in all honesty point out three good things he did while he was governor of Kwara state for eight years.
Mrs Saraki politely schooled the IG user on all the things he did while he was in office. She wrote: My dear, I can point to hundreds, Kwara State University, Ganmo Power Plant, Kwara School of Aviation, Kwara State Community Health Insurance, Kwara State Diagnostic Centre, Kwara State Water Reticulation, Kwara State Clean and Green Environmental Sanitation, Kwara #NEEDS educational curriculum with DFID, just to name a few of his administration’s milestones that I personally liked. But then, vision and visibility, like beauty are in the eye of the beholder.. #GrowNigeria …and legislatively in Kwara State 2003 – 2011, my favourites are Kwara State Safe Maternity Services Act of 2010, and Kwara State Child Rights Act of 2006 – the first of Nigeria’s 19 northern states to enact and implement such much needed legislation #GrowNigeria @bukolasaraki @dinomelaye @benmbruce
